EGYPT
I really hate talk about politics but ""Every man and every woman is a star."
...............Governments often exhibit the most deplorable stupidity, however enlightened may be the men who compose and constitute them, or the people whose destinies they direct. It is therefore incumbent on every man and woman to take the proper steps to cause the revisions of all existing statutes on the basis of the Law of Thelema. This Law being a Law of Liberty, the aim of the legislation must be to secure the amplest freedom for each individual in the state, eschewing the presumptious assumption that any given positive ideal is worthy to be obtained.
They not follow the Law of Thelema of course but they have "big" ones!! So, I`m happy for this people!!!

Re: EGYPT
I made my first (and so far only) trip to Egypt in Oct 2009, to Cairo and Luxor - the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. It was very emotive to see the recent TV images from Tahrir Square, of the crowds and demonstrations in front of that evocative pink building so fresh in my memory.
Whilst there was some violence was I am so thankful that this change came about without more bloodshed. It's a complete joke when a leader will proclaim to be "serving his people" but steadfastly and arrogantly refuse to step aside when the majority of "his" people are outside en mass demanding his removal.
I felt very affected by the poverty that I saw in Cairo (especially in some of the neighbourhoods we drove through on the way to Giza), and I feel very proud (hope that doesn't sound patronising) of the Egyptian people for standing up for what they believe in and declaring "this is enough".
I know there are now concerns regarding the nature of the regime that may fill the void, but from what I experienced of those I met whilst visiting, they are not the kind of people who will accept an oppressive or restrictive government.
Still it's a bit concerning to hear about the looting from the Museum...it's not *cough* the most comprehensively catalogued collection and so who know what treasures may have been lost...?
I hope to return someday soon to visit the sites south of Luxor...
